We have all experienced the service at flying schools when hiring aircraft. You get dropped in favour of students, the price is high, the availability is poor and currency requirements are at odds with what the CAA demand and your years of experience might reward you with.

| Licence | JAR or UK PPL with current medical and ratings for the type of flying intended. You must also have a valid RT licence. |

| Experience | 100 hours total time (negotiable) | Check out- usually 1 hour - this may vary depending on experience. For example you may have just qualified at Bournemouth in a PA28 and have 50 hours total time. A good demonstration on the check out flight and you can hire the PA28. |

| Payment and Billing |
Charge is against Tacho time. Payable by credit card or cash at the end of the flight or by telephone the next day, if returning after 18:00 local - we do not accept cheques or AMEX. |

| Minimum Hire Time |
The minimum hire time is 1 hour. The minimum charge for a whole 'day away' is 2 hours. The daily rate for longer periods of hire is 2 hours. |
You can hire/fly the aircraft for less than 1 hour however the landing fee at Bournemouth will be charged at £35.00 in addition to the flying time. Our cheap rate is based an hours flying, any hire less than 1 hour is not viable. |
| Additional Charges |
Other than the return landing back at EGHH (included in your hire price) you are responsible for all additional landing fees / airways use / procedural approaches / parking charges at Bournemouth or wherever else you visit. Fuel, if purchased during the hire period,, is refunded at the price we pay however a VAT receipt will be always be required to secure a refund. No VAT receipt = no refund. NOTE
Circuits / Approaches at EGHH will cost you £35.00 EACH |
Cancellations A booking must be cancelled with no less than 48 hours notice. If you cancel a booking with less than 48 hours notice a minimum charge of £75.00 will be payable. You will not be charged if your cancellation is due to weather, if you are ill or your booking and cancellation both occur withing 48 hours (late or last min bookings). | Instructors |
We only use our own highly experienced and approved instructors. You may not undertake flying training, check outs or renewals using instructors we have not previously approved of. |
Instructors are paid directly by you in cash at the rate of £20.00 per hour. For IMC training this rises to £35.00 per hour. |

Can you hire and fly when we are closed? YES however remember you need to be a registered member of the Pilot Network to be insured as well as logged into the website to be able to make a booking online. To fly we need to have checked your FCL documents and log book prior to your first hire. These terms are not negotiable.
